My name's Colleen and I'm from the Philippines.

I have a bachelor of commerce degree in Management Accounting from the University of Cebu. I have been working as an online English teacher at my current company for almost 9 years now.
During my free time, I make sure I do something productive like English reading books and watching American films. When I was younger, I used to play with my friends and I played the role of a teacher. So, I taught and shared with them what I have learned at school. That's how my passion for teaching started.

When it comes to my teaching strategies, I really like to tailor my teaching approach to the students' goals. Actually, my classes are always fun and interesting. I want my students to feel comfortable in class, so we do a lot of interactive and creative activities together. I also encourage them to be more enthusiastic about learning the language. And one of the things that you need to know, is that in my class you have nothing to worry about committing mistakes because that is a part of learning. I really enjoy teaching and seeing my students improve, I can feel the drive of fulfillment within myself when I know I'm able to impart my knowledge to them.
